The 60” Gas Open Burner/Griddle/Broiler Top Restaurant Range - Challenger XL Series (C60-SS-6B-24GB-P) is a commercial propane gas-powered range featuring 6 open burners and a raised manual griddle/broiler to the right. The burners are made from heavy-duty cast iron and include lift-off heads to facilitate cleaning. The grates in the back are slightly larger and able to accommodate larger pots and pans. The right side of the rangetop is made up of a 24-inch griddle which is constructed from 7/8” polished steel for an even plate that conducts heat with precision. The base of the range is made up of 2 standard ovens, making this large unit ideal for high-volume operations where consistency and output are important factors in the purchasing process. A shrouded flashtube pilot system within the rangetop saves money in energy costs, making this an investment that will pay off and follow a more environmental-conscious route. Stainless steel constructs the entire unit, including the front, sides, backriser and lift-off high shelf. The range is finished with a welded aluminum frame to add to the structural integrity of the machine, and control knobs are made from a high temperature material to ensure the components remain cool to the touch and intact throughout years of professional use.
