As per the July 2008 draft, in LEED for Retail: New Construction, pre-rinse sprayers that have a maximum water usage of 1.6 gpm (gallon per minute) can help earn points toward Water Efficiency credit 3.1: Water Use Reduction: 20% Reduction.
