The LEED for Retail: New Construction freezer standards are based on Tier II of the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE)'s criteria for commercial freezers. They must have an efficiency of 0.28V + .97kWh/day. It should be noted that these standards are more stringent than ENERGY STAR, which requires products to have an efficiency of 0.40V + 1.38 kWh/day.
