"I agree with other reviewers that this item is much smaller than you would imagine, even though the size is posted in the description. I would recommend potential buyers actually measure out the size that it will be. However, that being said, they are still very useful to hold name place cards, or menu items on a buffet. It's better than not. I'm not sure how long-term wear will affect the pieces of metal that "pinch" the paper, but for now, it has been holding up well."

"I bought these for a buffet table for a party I had. They worked out great, look nice and were good for the price. You do have to slightly open to get cards inside and squeeze tight to close. I will surely use them for every party I have in the future for as long as they last. The quality seems fine so they should hold up. "

"I am using these holders for my table numbers at my up and coming wedding. They are low profile (a little smaller than I imagined - even with reading the desciption) and will work perfectly with my wooden numbers. The holder bent a little upon first use but over all will work perfectly. The shipment was quick and packaged with bubble wrap. "
