"Heavy duty. Very sturdy and well built. Slides on countertop. I am going to try adding rubber feet as one customer suggested. Otherwise I will have hubby mount it to a block of wood. Would recommend this product. Makes cutting potatoes into french fries a breeze!"

"This fry cutter is excellent but needs to be bolted down to something. Once it is bolted nothing compares.."

"Well built, stainless where it should be, sturdy where it should be. Designed to be 'installed' but works well with rubber feet attached. A wrench is necessary to uninstall or reinstall the cutter head [for cleaning] but its not difficult to do so. I would purchase this product again, but its not likely as it should last a lifetime of casual home cooking use."

"I would not buy the1/4" cutter. I would go with the 3/8" the 1/4" is really hard to use, it seems like the wires flex too much."

"I love this fry cutter. It makes cutting fries for my family so much faster, and easier. We had a problem with the blade when we first got it, but they sent a replacement to us as soon as we called them. You'll love it."

"This product is just horrible. 2 months of usage and it begun to crack left and right. First , one blade broke in just cutting small potatoes. Next, the silver bracket that holds the blades cracked. What a waste of money and time. I really wasted my time mounting it on the wall. It belongs in the garbage can. "
