When choosing a merchandiser, first consider where it will be located. If you need a merchandiser right next to your register, consider a countertop merchandiser. These are great for impulse buys. Open-air models are also good for putting near a cash register, since very little stands between the customer and your next sale.

Merchandisers with sliding doors are great for convenience stores, small supermarkets and other retail establishments.
