Q: Does this machine have an automatic option or is it strictly manual?
A: This Turbo Air German Knife Series 10” Blade Economy Slicer (GS-10LD) is strictly manual. Turbo Air does not have an Economy slicer that is automatic. A step up would be the Turbo Air GS-12A which is not an economy model, but is automatic.

A: This German Knife Series 10" Blade Economy Slicer from Turbo Air (GS-10LD) is intended for use as a light duty slicer and is not appropriate for cutting cheese.
