The True standard top sandwich and salad tables also come with a full-length polypropylene cutting board which is NSF approved as a food contact surface. The board is 11 ¾” wide, so you will be able to use it for a variety of different sandwich and salad bowl sizes.
The True sandwich/salad tables with a mega top have three rows of ingredient pans, an 8 7/8” deep, full-length cutting board and all of the standard features that set True well above the competition. These units are the perfect choice for commercial kitchens that produce a lot of sandwiches and salads or have a lot of different ingredient choices.
Each table also comes standard with an oversized refrigeration system with a directed airflow pattern that circulates the cold air 360° throughout the cabinet. This keeps meats and cheeses fresh and salad greens crispy. Cold air is also directed to the ingredient rail to keep those products cold, too. Rounding out the list of standard features there are cabinet doors that stay open when swung past 90° and PVC coated shelves that are included with every door section. The sections with drawers will accept full-size pans, but the pans are not included.
One feature that is not standard is the work surface height. Most units are around the standard countertop height of 40 inches, but for establishments that need to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, there are models that have a 34” high work surface.
