True Dual Temperature Refrigeration

As with any selection of True products, the dual temps have a fair mixture of top and bottom mounted compressors. Top mounted compressors tend to be a little more energy efficient, because hot compressor air is expelled to the ceiling as opposed to back into the cabinet. However, units with bottom mounted compressors make it easier for employees to access products on the bottom of the cabinet.

An important thing to consider when looking for a dual temp is the location of the freezer and cooler compartments. For one section models, the refrigerator is no top of the freezer; this makes sense from an energy efficiency standpoint, because it is always colder on the floor than at the ceiling. In units with two sections, the refrigerated compartment is on the left. Take this positioning into account when placing the unit in your kitchen. You will want to maximize workflow as much as possible.
