These forks are constructed of biodegradable corn polymers and starches and are microwave and freezer safe. They have a heat tolerance of 240 °F and come packed in 10 bags of 100 pieces.

Q: Is the fact that these are biodegradeable and eco-friendly marked somehow on this product? Are they white or off-white?

A: The Trellis Earth line of disposable cutlery does not have any differentiating markings that will show they are biodegradeable and eco-friendly. Different states have different guidelines on what markings can be on biodegradable products depending on their exact material make up. These pieces of cutlery are an off-white or cream color.

"We do many special events and meetings with food for 20 to 100 follks. They appreciate the sturdiness of the product but more to the point, they like that we've gone green and that the "trash" will be composted."

"Where I work, we have recently shifted to a more environmentally conscious approach to daily events and tasks. This product was appealing because of the environmental stewardship behind it, but also because of its economical price. I wasn't sure if I would like the product because of durability but decided to try it, and I couldn't be more impressed! They perform just as plastic forks do: strong durability, easy to use, sleek look, etc. And the bonus is, you don't feel guilty for throwing them away! I have only received compliments I would highly recommend this product!"
