  The Tabletop Classics (AC-9125) - 14" Hammered Top Nickelplate Square Cake Stand is finished with a nickel plating so it should not tarnish as nickel is one of the most tarnish-resistant metals available. The only way it may tarnish is if the nickel plating was scratched to the base metal.
