"I purchased this item to use for an event I coordinated at an establishment that did not have bread baskets. The table was set with many items and this bread basket was able to fit in because while the base is not large, the basket itself stood high and was able to hold enough bread comfortably for 8 people... in addition the appearance of the basket is fun and upbeat and looked great with a colored napkin peeking through the spiral. I really like them. Thanks! "
