The 170 Hot Dog Steamer (35SSA) from Star is a quality stainless steel unit with a clear tempered glass door for long-lasting hot dog merchandising. To perfectly steam 170 hot dogs at once, the hot dog compartment features a shelf to allow for sectional control. The bun compartment is separate and features a humidity control to keep burns warm and fresh and not soggy. In order to keep the water clean and thus create a more consistent product, the unit comes equipped with a hot dog juice tray to catch the expelled juices before they reach the water. Once the water supply becomes low, an indicator light will go off to keep hot dog production going strong.
