As a dyer, the qualities I look for in a pot are * 1 easy to clean * 2 good strong handles * 3 not too wide in relation to depth. This pot achieves this minimum easily with the added bonus that the handles do not get overheated even after the contents simmering for 2 hours. I still need a cloth to handle them but that's all, I do not need the extra thickness of e.g. a pot holder.
