Pizza Deck Ovens

Pizza deck ovens mix modern and old world technology to create the authentic pizza flavor without the operator having to spend time tending the oven itself. The most important piece of old world technology used is the stone shelf, or deck. The stones heat up the same as in wood-fired oven, so they will still produce the same charred crust.

As with most forms of modern technology, pizza deck ovens are smaller, so they can be easily placed inside most commercial kitchens. There are even countertop models available for establishments that want to create a great pizza but do not have the customer volume to warrant a full-size model.
