Pan Grippers

Sometimes, a wadded up towel is not enough to safely grip and transport a pan of hot pizza, especially if it is deep dish, and no pans come with handles. Pan grippers were invented for this very reason. They are a make-shift handle to assist in carrying deep rimmed pans.

You will need to consider what type of pans you have when looking for a pan gripper. There are models designed specifically for both shallow and deeper pans. Those designed for deep-dish tend to be a bit heftier than those for shallow pans because deep-dish pizzas are heavier than regular pies, so you will need a stronger grip.

Another feature to look for is a gripper with a notched end. The notches can easily settle around the rim of the tray for a better grip. You will also want to consider the aesthetic appeal of the gripper, since it will be seen by your customers.
