The 5½" White Birch Cutlery Knives (Case of 1,000) (Perfect Stix Green Knife 140) are biodegradable, wooden knives machined to a smooth finish out of white birch for a tasteless, odorless product.  Because these knives have been crafted out of white birch, they are biodegradable which means that compared to plastic disposable dinnerware, the environmental impact of these knives is miniscule.  The knives measure 5½ inches (140mm) long by three quarters of an inch (18mm) wide and have been packaged into ten bags with one hundred knives each for a total case count of one thousand knives.
