Rich dark chocolate is a treat very few can refuse. The silky, dark color and the heavy, subtly sweet taste make is a sumptuous snack to be certain. Monin has developed a line of rich, thick sauces and the Monin 2 L Gourmet Dark Chocolate Sauce is one of those sauces. Use it in various drink recipes or to decorate the tops of latte drinks. The following is one of Monin’s favorite recipes for the dark chocolate sauce.
Ingredients:
- 2 shots Espresso
- 1/2 oz. Monin Dark Chocolate Sauce
- 3/4 oz. Monin Almond (Orgeat) Syrup
- Steamed Milk
Directions:
- Combine espresso, Monin Dark Chocolate Sauce and Monin Almond in a mug.
- Fill with steamed milk and stir.
- Top with whipped cream.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings and slivered almonds.
