Q: Does this ice machine require a drain?
A: This ice machine, Manitowoc (QM-30A) - 52 Lb Self-Contained Cube Ice Machine - QM 30 Series, does require a drain to allow any melting ice to escape the holding bin. A standard floor drain is adequate, or an additional pump can be purchased which will pump the water into an existing wall drain.
