It was easy to install, works as advertised. Construction crews fill their coolers in morning the emptying ice maker. Afterwards the ice maker is full by afternoon and ready for tomorrow. For instillation, don’t forget the ice machine has national pipe thread fittings. This is a good quality machine.
Nice unit and does all that was promised. It came with an ice scoop event though sales person said it did not have one. So now I have 2. Installation required a professional plumber to do as we did not have a floor drain. It is quiet though it does seem that water runs constantly.

Q-130 seems to be operating in a flawless manner at this time. I had an older model for approximately twenty years that finally gave up, but finally decided to get a new one after it was re-charged with Freon for eight months.

This Manitowoc 90 Lb Self-Contained Full Cube Ice Machine- Q 130 Series (QD-0132A) does require a floor drain. There is a small drain in the rear that will drain melted ice, and that water will need to drain somewhere. All ice machines require floor drains whether air-cooled or water-cooled.
This Manitowoc Q-130 Series 90 Lb Self-contained Full Cube Ice Machine (QD-0132A) does automatically stop producing ice when the bin is full and continues to make ice when a certain level has been reached.
