This ice bin works well with establishments that need large quantities of ice, such as bars, restaurants and clubs, but have limited room. The thin, tall build of the unit takes up less room than many other units and the easy sliding door allows for quick retrieval of ice. The no-slam feature insures that patrons won't be bothered by loud distractions, as well.

Most of the Manitowoc ice storage bins mix and match with a multitude of Manitowoc ice machines to form a combination unit that fits the needs of a specific enterprise. However, some establishments’ most pressing need is efficient use of space. For such businesses, the B-420 ice storage bin from Manitowoc is an attractive option. With a width of just 22 inches, this storage bin has little trouble finding a spot within even the coziest of environments. However, with a capacity of 310 pounds, this bin is no slouch. Its only drawback is that it is compatible with only the S-Series 322 and S-Series 422 ice machines from Manitowoc. However, with ice production of 340 and 430 pounds per day, respectively, either will hold up its end of the bargain. This storage bin proves that space constraints and low ice production don’t have to go hand-in-hand.

"Huge ice bin. We will never run out of ice with this unit!
We needed a deep and narrow bin due to a tight space and this one works great. Easy install with the drain directly under the unit instead of behind. Legs are totally adjustable making the leveling of the unit very easy. "

"We were in need of a good ice machine for the restaurant and I believe that the Manitwoc ice machine is a much better product than the last machine we had. It is very efficient and it meets our needs daily without fail. It is quiet, durable, very nice looking with its sleek design and went together very well. I am very satisfied with it. "This bin is the perfect size for our establishment. It is easily drained and cleaned. it holds the perfect amount of ice that we need for our cafe. I highy recommend this storage ice bin for anybody who has a need for not a large amount of ice, but who's needs are continuous ice production. "
