Q: Will lids and rings fit this drinking jar so it can be used for canning?
A: This Libbey Glassware 16 oz Drinking Jar (97084) has a top diameter of 2.625". If the lids you are trying to use are the same diameter, they will probably fit. However, these glasses are not recommend for enduring the actual canning process as they are made to be drinking glasses.

"The drinking jars are at once functional and decorative. We use them not only as drinking jars, but also as storage jars for rice, beans, grains, etc. They're easy to drink from, easy to wash and easy to store. Very sturdy. Overall, very satisfied with purchase. Intend to buy again to give away as gifts! Everyone should own a set (or two)!"
