So not surprisingly, Krowne faucets are made out of quality metals. Generally, the spout is made of solid brass and the faucet has a nickel-chromium plating for a polished, shiny top surface.

All of Krowne’s faucets are made to accept a pre-rinse unit, which is an important tool you need to have on hand for manual dishwashing. Most of these faucets are also designed with a special valve system to accommodate the high volume of water needed in a commercial kitchen. A special ceramic valve is used to turn the water on and off, instead of a rubber washer, which can lead to leaks and stripped handles on your knob. The ceramic valves ensure that the water continues to turn on and off without drips and without constantly needing to replace the washer.
