Wire Shelving

Wire shelving is usually manufactured of metal wire with a special finish, such as chrome, zinc or epoxy coating. These finishes help extend the life of the shelves, especially if they are exposed to a lot of wear and tear. Wire shelves are easy to assemble and adjust, with shelf collars to hold the shelves in whatever position you choose. The drawback to wire shelving units is that the shelves are difficult to clean. Since they are not easily removed once assembled, they are not easily transported to the dishwashing area. Cleaning between all those wires is not easy, either. However, these are durable shelving options that many restaurant operators find to work just fine in their buildings.
