Solid metal shelves like these are perfect for replacement shelves if any shelves in your shelving unit get damaged. These are also good options for operators who wish to add extra shelves to their existing shelving units. The downside to solid metal shelves like this is that they do not “breathe” as well as rail shelves or wire shelves. Air will not circulate as well with these shelves, so they are best for dry storage applications where air flow is not as critical as it is with cold-storage.
