Baking cookies, cakes, dinner rolls and other small items on a full or half sheet pan is great until you run out of space to set your pans to cool them. Pan racks provide the perfect solution for storage as well as transportation. Pan racks are available in different dimensions and different pan capacities, so
check out the specifications before you buy. For smaller operations, an eight or nine pan-capacity pan rack may be completely sufficient. However, larger and busier operations with a higher volume of production may require taller pan racks with a capacity of up to 30 full-size pans. Many high-production factories use pan racks since they are constantly churning out new product. Factory workers use pan racks to wheel loaded pans of product from the fryer to the oven and then to the blast freezer, all without moving the product from the pans.
