Mixing Paddles
Sort By:
Both our wood and metal mixing paddles have comfort and safety features. Our metal paddles have rounded blade edges to save both the employee and bowl interior from scratches. The handles are made from hollow tube metal, providing a light, comfortable grip. Our wood paddles feature smooth finished handles to reduce blisters and eliminate splinters. Also, the wooden blades have tapered edges for easy scraping and mixing.
Choosing between metal or wood is the biggest consideration, besides size, when purchasing a mixing paddle. Metal will be a more durable option though it can do some damage to pans even with the tapered edges. Metal is much easier to maintain and clean, while wood needs to e properly hand washed and treated with mineral oils to prevent it from warping after use. Many people prefer wood to metal because it gentler on the inside of pots and pans. If properly cared for, wood paddles can last for a very long time.
