Loaf Pans

Because a loaf pan can be used in so many applications in the kitchen, it’s imperative that you take care of your pans so that they last longer. For non-stick aluminum and silicone pans, never use metal kitchen tools on your pan. The metal scrapes right through the non-stick coating and can void the warranty if your pans carry one. Instead, use rubber or silicone utensils on the pan. They are just as effect and will cause less damage.
Resist the urge to put your non-stick pans in the dishwasher. The high heat can cause damage to the coating as well as warp the pan itself. Instead, wash the pans by hand in warm, soapy water. If its dishwasher friendly you are looking for, consider a silicone pan. Just remember to never set your silicone pan on direct heat. While silicone can handle the indirect heat of an oven, it is not meant to withstand the direct heat of a burner.
