Chopped lettuce is used primarily in sandwiches and salads. If you will be using the lettuce for sandwiches, it is recommended that you use smaller cuts so the lettuce does not monopolize the sandwich. For chopped salads, you will want to select a lettuce cutter that makes larger 1” pieces. If the cut size is not available, look at the number of blades the unit has. The higher the number of blades, the smaller the lettuce pieces.

You can also select different methods of operation. Though they are all manually controlled, some simply have a lift up pusher where your workers will have to thrust down on the head of lettuce. Other models use a pull down lever to chop the lettuce.
