Label Printing Scales

Label printing scales use preset keys to produce custom labels that display a product's name, weight, bar code, price and packaging date and time. These are the most crucial parts of the label because it contains all of the information that both the customer and the store will need. It is important for a patron to be able to see the cost per weight of the item they are purchasing along with the weight of food that they actually purchased. The date that the food is purchased is crucial so that clients know when to use the product. It is especially crucial with meat products so they are not allowed to go bad waiting in the refrigerator for too long.

When relying on your label printing scale to display, weigh and print the correct information, it is extremely important to zero out the scale before it is used every morning to make certain the customer isn’t getting too much for too little money or vice versa. To reset the scale to zero, simply press the “Tare” button and the scale will be zeroed out. If the weight of a container needs to be included, place an empty container on the scale and then press “Tare.” Doing this daily will ensure that your scales are always accurate and your customers will appreciate that you are taking care to be as accurate as possible.
