The major thing you need to look at when selecting a knife case is the number of knives it will hold. You will also want to check the product descriptions to see if there are any specifics on size because the individual pockets are only so big. Since the cases are meant to store and help easily transport knives, check to see what kind of carrying device they have. Some have a nylon shoulder strap; others have a handle and are meant to be carried like a briefcase. There are even larger cases that come with wheels and a retractable handle, like a common piece of luggage. The wheeled bag or briefcase is ideal for the travelling salesperson, but if you intend to travel via air, be sure to check the bag.
