Jellies are a surprisingly simple snack to make and they don’t even require all that many tools to complete the entire process. These are most important tools to keep in your arsenal when making gummy candy. Of course, you will need to have a sauce pan for a lot of the stovetop cooking that is going to be happening. You will be using it to boil and then simmer the desired fresh fruits to be used in the candy mix. Next tool will be a mill for food. Run the softened fruit through the mill until it is a fine pulp and discard any of the solids leftover.
Put your fresh fruit pulp in with the rest of the ingredients in a freshly cleaned pan and let them cook. Once the mixture is ready, choose the type of jelly mold you want to use and lightly oil it. Now pour the mixture into each mold and let them sit on a rack used for cooling for around 24 hours in the open air. Once the candies have sat for a day, dump them out of the mold and let them fall onto a sheet of parchment that has been lightly dusted with granulated sugar and let them sit for another 24 hours. After ne more day, the candy is ready for eating or it can be refrigerated for up to three weeks.
