Ingredient Bins

As with all of Cambro’s composite products, their ingredient bins are constructed of a single plastic mold to create a seamless, highly durable product. Additionally, the clear plastic lids allow you to easily see what is inside. For grains or ingredients that look similar, use a piece of masking tape to clearly label the outside of each container so that use will be a snap and lids will not get left open so that employees can easily see inside.

Remember to always keep these bins in a dry, cool area in the restaurant to prevent the ingredients from being over exposed to moisture and hardening or spoiling. Make certain to remind employees to close the lid after every use as leaving the bins open exposes them to bacteria and other pests that may be lurking in the kitchen. The open bins are also more susceptible to flavor or aromas transfer and can become tainted with other flavors, leaving your dishes tasting off.
