Graduated Containers
Sort By:
Graduated containers are exceptionally good for storing ingredients or completed foods that need to be measured out before they are reheated or served. Most restaurants will prepare large batches of soup or sauce in the clear containers and cover them with industrial plastic wrap to prevent contamination. Since the soup or sauce is going to be used up in the next day or two, the need for long term storage is not as great.
The graduated markings allow chefs to measure out the appropriate amount of liquid ingredients without needing to dirty up a measuring cup or scoop. The containers are also fantastic for storing soup bouillon or stock for up coming use and the stock can be frozen, and then scooped out to a certain measurement for accuracy, but by scooping the stock or broth frozen, the mess is much than ladling or pouring a liquid in a large container.
