Home > Kitchen > Baking Supplies > Oven to Table > Ceramic Custard Bowls
Custard is a dessert somewhere between liquid and solid depending on the recipe and the country in which it is being made. Custard dishes are used for creating individual portions of the dessert to serve to customers as the dessert can be somewhat tricky to remove from a pan without damaging irreparably. The dessert is best eaten from the bowl

Custard dishes can be very similar to the dishes used to make crème brulee since custard is the base for the toasted treat. The big difference between a custard bowl and a dish used for crème brulee is that there will be no torching taking place on a custard. The process of making this dessert is fairly straightforward, making sure to chill the dish the proper amount of time.

The other difference is that many other ingredients can be added to a custard dessert. Layer the sweet cream in between seasonal berries or other fruits. Place delicate chocolate wafers in with the mixture to give your customers a crunchy treat once they delve into the food. Although not extremely common, the product can also be mixed with savory ingredients as well.
