Aluminum Brazier Pans

Braziers offer an indoor option for cooking over coals. The pan can be placed on top of the range so it does not burn a work surface. A grill is placed atop the brazier once the coals are ready and meat or vegetables can be slowly cooked, creating the unmistakable flavor of freshly grilled food. Add cedar block for a uniquely smoky flavor. Aluminum braziers need to be cared for pretty heavily since they are used to essential grill indoors. The interior of the pan can get pretty stained with soot and debris from the charcoal. First remember to let the pan cool all the way before you start washing it. It is best to let the pot soak in liquid detergent and warm water so it will be easy to remove the charcoal black from the bottom of the pan. Once the pan has been soaked properly, rinse it in warm, running water. Much of the charcoal should run right out of the pan but what doesn’t can be cleaned out with a wet rag. If there are still pieces stuck to the interior of the pan, use a plastic (never, ever use metal to scrape or cleaner an aluminum pot) scraper to remove anything still caked on. Dry the pan fully and return it to its appropriate place in the kitchen.
