One thing you will need to consider when a Jet Tech undercounter dishwasher is the composition of the counter or table top under which the unit is placed. When the door is opened, especially if it is opened mid-wash, some steam will escape. The steam can warp or damage a laminate or wood countertop. One way to prevent this is to have a local metal worker fabricate a stainless steel shield to deflect the heat away from the counter.
