Many customers don’t realize how much money goes down the drain, literally, every time they flush. Billions of dollars in the United States are spent on restroom supplies every year and toilet paper accounts for the largest expense amongst restroom expenditures. Commercial toilet paper comes in three basic sizes. The first is standard, which is the same size roll that can be found in most residences. The next is jumbo, which is a roll of commercial toilet paper that is approximately 12 inches thick per roll and has about 4,000 feet of toilet paper when unrolled. A third size jumbo junior, or JRT junior, is slightly smaller than jumbo in diameter and has about 2,000 feet of toilet paper. The softness of commercial toilet paper usually corresponds to the ply of the paper. 1 and 2-ply are the most common. Commercial toilet paper generally comes in bleached (white) or natural (brown) colors.
