This is an air-cooled machine, so in dry climates it’s the one you will want. The great thing about this design is that air is pulled in from the front of the machine AND expelled through the front. This allows you to put the machine anywhere you want with complete freedom since neither of the vents will be blocked by walls or counters. Access to the ice is also on the front, making it easier to get the ice with a scoop even when it’s low. These are little things, but they all come together on this unit to make a very user-friendly machine that Ice-O-Matic really stands behind.
