The attached storage bin eliminates the need and hassle of shopping for a matching, separate ice bin. With an average yield of 1469 pounds per 24 hour period, this ice machine should produce more than enough ice for customers who need large amounts of cubed ice everyday. To save hassle and money, this ice machine uses a filter-free, air-cooled condenser, and it features electroless nickel plating to help prevent long term corrosion. The storage bin can store up to 854 pounds of ice and has a foam insulated, polyethylene bin liner to help keep all that ice from melting.

Shopping for a combination ice machine/storage bin unit can take a lot of headache out of the purchasing process. Mismatching individual pieces can cost your business dearly in terms of efficiency and production. In the case of this unit, the two pieces complement each other perfectly. The modular ice machine produces 1,469 pounds of half-cube ice, perfect for a bar or restaurant with a substantial amount of guests. Meanwhile, the storage bin can hold approximately two-thirds of a day’s production level, so running out of ice will not be an issue. Half-cubes are perfect for bars and restaurants, as they provide more surface area than conventional cubes. This allows drinks to cool faster while the ice also takes up more room inside the glass, limiting the amount of beverage, or mixers in the case of bars or clubs, used in each drink.
