Though it doesn’t produce a lot of ice, only 347 pounds per day, that may actually be a good thing for smaller restaurants or bars that don’t need, and don’t want to waste, a lot of ice. The ice machine produces full-size cubes which are great in a wide variety of beverages and resist melting better than most other types of ice. The machine is also equipped with an air-cooled condenser that conserves water and will save you a significant amount of money on your utility bills compared with a water-cooled model. The ice machine has also been fitted with several of Ice-O-Matic’s advanced features like PureIce and HarvestAssist. Pure ice is an antimicrobial agent that has been infused into every critical food zone area of the ice machine to prevent the build-up of bacteria and slime, and the HarvestAssist feature aids in removing the ice from the evaporator, making production more reliable and shortening production times for added energy savings.

"We have a small general store with a small kitchen in rural Texas. We needed a new ice maker and purchased the ice o matic in the smallest size to match the bin we already owned. It was a lot lighter the the old ice o matic and installed in snap. We have had it for about a month now and have had no problems whatsoever. We are expecting that we will need more ice capacity when next summer rolls around and we might need to get ourselves another one. Thanks PJ"
