Great ice machine for the money. Dependable and easy to maintain. We have Ice-o-Matic ice machines in four of our facilities and very rarely have had to do anything other than routine cleaning and maintenance. The stainless steel construction is durable and easy to clean. As with any ice machine, a good water filter is highly recommended.

If you need a non stop producing machine for your ice needs, then this is the way to go. The bin is only 220 lbs but the producing capacity is endless. Great space saver. Quiet unit and despite the air cooled, not very hot. Cube size is about 1 inch by 1 inch by inch. A bit big but looks great.

Convenient and efficient

Purchasing an ice machine and a dispenser separately can come with a lot of headache, as some machines don’t work with the dispensers and most require a kit in order for the two individual products to work in tandem. This ice machine/hotel dispenser solves that issue, right off the bat. The dispenser can store almost a quarter of the ice machine’s daily output, which is about what you’re looking for in a hotel dispenser. It has an air-cooled condenser, which is also ideal, especially for hotels that have several ice machines on the premises. An air-cooled condenser will save you buckets in water usage, which will translate in a significant amount of money saved over the lifetime of the unit. The combination of convenience and efficiency makes purchasing this product a no-brainer.

Compact and Efficient Flake Ice Production

While there tends to be a plethora of self-contained cube ice machines available on the market, there usually aren’t too many self-contained flake ice machines available and fewer still that are as efficient and reliable as this one. It uses an air-cooled condenser that conserves a significant amount of water and features a front-breathing design. This design allows you to place the ice machine in cramped spaces and the ice machine to be placed with virtually no clearance on the sides and back. The compact dimensions of the ice machine are also great for installation under a counter or between other pieces of equipment making this one of the most versatile flake ice machines available on the market.

Smaller unit, same quality standards

It seems like many manufacturers tend to put all their best features in their most expensive units while ignoring the need for those same quality standards in their lighter models. Well, Ice-O-Matic bucks this trend. Even though the combination unit is designed for smaller operations such as restaurants and bars with about 55 seats, it has all the features that you’d expect to find in their larger models. It comes with Harvest Assist, which maximizes production by keeping the ice tray free of stray cubes, and the evaporator plate receives the same electroless nickel-plating treatment that larger units get. Maybe it’s just me, but I think it’s refreshing to see the same amount of attention to quality go into the smaller units as go into the larger products.
