Hatco Freestanding Food Warmers

The Hatco freestanding food warmers are essentially a heat lamp, except they use a single fluorescent-style heat bulb instead of two individual globes. Another difference is the bottom plate or pan on some of these products is heated. Top and bottom heat are ideal for fried foods because it promotes even heat circulation throughout the products. This helps prevent oils from pooling in the bottom of the pan making the foods soggy.

If the freestanding warmer will be placed in a buffet line, it is recommended that you use a unit with sneeze guards, so the food will be protected from airborne contaminants.
