Q: How long can hot dogs stay in cooker in one day? How long does it take to cook the hot dogs? How long can the buns remain in cooker without becoming soggy?
A: Generally the hot dogs can stay in the 80-Hot Dog Steamin' Demon Hot Dog Steamer (8007) all day but some variables can effect their presentation and flavor including the quality of hot dog, how hot the compartment is and the meat that comprises the hot dogs. Hot dogs will cook in about 15 minutes if they are thawed and 30 minutes if they are frozen. Buns can also be kept in all day in the bag (with the twist tie off) but may become soggy if the steam is set too high over a period of a few hours or if left outside of the bag.
