Q: I would like to know how long the grids hold up,since there not changable. Do these irons stand test of time? I have a chicken & waffle restaurant.
A: This Gold Medal Electronic Round Belgian Waffle Baker (5021E) will last years if cared for properly. Gold Medal supplies Cold Stone Creamery, as well as multiple other restaurants, buffet chains, etc. The usage / cleaning will dictate how long the waffle baker will last. If not taken care of, or cleaned properly, with the correct cleansers, the " non-stick " coating can wear off. The grids can be replaced by an authorized Gold Medal Dealer if they have to.
