A: The slowest setting (30 rpms) on this Globe 5 qt Power Mixer (SP5) is made for stirring and incorporating ingredients. The next setting up at 50 rpms is more for dough kneading.

Q: What size and shape attachment hub?
A: The Globe (SP5) - 5 qt Power Mixer features a #10 attachment hub. While Globe does not currently manufacture attachments for this model, Kitchen Aid #10 attachments will work fine.

Q: Can I mix recipes in this machine back-to-back without it overheating and shutting down on me or should I let it rest between batches?

A: This Globe 5 qt Power Mixer (SP5) can handle bread dough, even bagel dough but at a limited capacity because of the density. It can take a maximum of 3 pounds of dough being mixed for 7 minutes before it needs a cool-down.
