The scale is heavy enough to stay put on the counter and does not slide around when used. The power cord is also long enough to reach a nearby outlet without any issues. For my use the tare feature is its most valuable feature. The metal tray cover can also be removed for cleaning if needed. The entire blue control pad is a single membrane and as such is waterproof. Often I have to press the buttons more firmly to activate the button. Over time I expect the buttons to loosen up some and become easier to press. Overall, I think the scale is a terrific buy.

I have been very pleased with this product. I especially like the "tare" feature. I'm not sure how or if it can be calibrated by the user. I get a lower weight than my butcher does but I guess he has a "seller's" scale and I have a "buyer's" scale. I also like the removeable stainless steel cover, it makes cleanup a breeze. I would definitely reccommend this product to the home cook. I mainly have used mine for sausage making, weighing meat and seasonings for accurate recipes.

There are quite a few features about this scale that work out great for me, working in a small area as I do. It is easliy accessible, it is easy to store, and it does not take up a lot of room. I like that you can run it on electric or batteries, which is nice because you dont have to be near an electrical outlet to use it. It is very easy to use. It is also very easy to clean.

Purchased this to weight ingredients for baked goods. I've used it several times, but haven't tested it in production because we are still constructing our kitchen. So far, I am very happy with it's performace. The display is larger than the scale I had been using. It tares quickly and accurately. The price through FSW was fantastic. I would purchase again.

The scale is light, accurate and not expensive. Our portion accuracy dictates the quality of our product and the accuracy of our bottom line. An underweight product cheats our customers as an overweight product cheats our profit. I highly recommend this product.

The Globe scale is economical, easy to use, portable and easy to clean. We use the power cord but like the flexibility of being able to use a battery. The flat, removable stainless tray and the tare option allow us to weigh various containers easily.
