Fagor (FI-48W) - 22 Rack/Hr Undercounter Dishwasher

These machines are some of the most reliable dishwashers out there. In 4 years, I have not gotten any service calls or unhappy customers. The manufacturer, Fagor, is also known for its high quality customer service; you will almost always get a live person, so if you have any issues with the machine, they will get fixed very quickly. This unit comes with everything you need as far as pumps. It also has a built in booster heater, which is necessary to bring dishwashers up to 180 degrees for the final rinse cycle to be compliant with NSF code. Some other dishwashers require you to buy a booster heater separately, so this is a great feature. It has a fast 3 minute wash cycle. Another nice feature of this unit is that is fits standard racks, so if you have racks from other machines, they will fit into this machine, saving you some money. The one thing to keep in mind is that they require 208-240 volts, so check your electrical capacity before purchasing. While these are great units for small restaurants, they are also wonderful for day cares. Many wine tasting facilities use them too because the guaranteed 180 degree final rinse cycle ensures that you’ll get all the lipstick stains off of wine glasses.
