"This is an excellent quality pan at a very low price. I'm sure that, with good care, it will last beyond my lifetime. It broke in exactly as the directions said it would and I can count on it to produce excellent pancakes and never to stick as long as it has a tiny bit of oil and the proper temperature. It cleans up easily with hot water and a brush. I'm going to buy more of these DeBuyer carbon steel pans and get rid of my old coated non-stick pans."

"Outstanding! You can find much discussion and review of french steel pans all over online. My worry in buying this was that it was identified by the distributor name with an allusion to de buyer name as well. Rest assured it is a legit de buyer pan. I was surprised to find it listed on the site as only 'good' quality. I almost want to buy one they have listed as 'best' to see how this could possibly be improved upon."
