Walk-In Freezers

Walk-in freezers that will be placed outside will need a special housing over the compressor to protect it from the elements. The exterior itself will also have additional coatings of either paint or epoxy to keep the metal from rusting.

If you want an indoor unit, be sure you take very precise measurements of the available space and keep in mind that the insulation is about 4” think on each side, so you will have to account for this when calculating the amount of storage space you need in the unit. Units can also com with or without a floor. Built-in floors usually consist of a skid-resistant metal, like aluminum. If you want to put down a custom tiled floor, be sure to select a walk-in without on already included.
